We are still pretty early on our quest of homeschooling…so no snags quite yet.

We could use some help with complex word problems.

Math is one of my sons most difficult subjects. He was born with encephalopathy and is dyslexic so I am always trying to find fun activities for him to do!

Jessica Medina says 6 years ago

ugh…all areas!

Rhoda says 6 years ago

Word problems historically have been a problem for my children. Memorization of math facts and formulas was easy, but understanding the concepts is where the problem arises.

DeeDee says 6 years ago

The memorization. The kids have no trouble with how addition, subtraction, & multiplication work, but they refuse to memorize the facts.

We haven’t really gotten into math yet, but division and fractions will be a nightmare I’m sure.

Jolene Ceravalo says 6 years ago

Right now, not much because my kids are 5 and under. We are trying to work on place value.

long division and multiple digit multipication

Every area of math is a struggle for my son!

Word problems with fractions

Cherub says 6 years ago

This is great. We would love this for our math curriculum!

Marci Wright says 6 years ago

Long division … & for some reason the 7’s times tables. He’s known his multiplication facts since 3rd grade, but he tends to forget those!

Christine Bailey says 6 years ago

My daughter has a hard time with word problems and understanding the wording and what it is that is being asked.
