I just adore this game concept. This one is for kids just learning how to add (all of the simple addition is shown with pictures!)
The idea is that you can use any pocket chart you might have. I use one that I found in the dollar spot of a large national chain that I probably shouldn’t name here…. But you know the one I mean, right? 😉 Anyway, they always sell them starting around July or August…
You’ll print out the Question Cards and the little square picture pieces. Place all the question cards in the chart and hide at least one picture behind one of the cards. (There’s a variation for multiple players that uses more than one picture card)
Your child points to a card and answers the question (in this case, addition problems) and if they get it right, they get to remove that card from the chart and see if they found the hidden picture card. It’s great fun and kids beg to do it over and over. ♥
