Beautiful Meal Planning Solution

Have you ever heard of Build-A-Menu?

This is one of the coolest, easiest ways I’ve ever seen to plan out meals and shopping lists and the site is so pretty! Take a look at this screenshot: BuildAMenu_MealScreen

Now, that’s the screen you’ll see after you tell Build A Menu where you want to shop.  Yes!  The menus and prices are all designed EVERY WEEK so that you are getting the best deals out there and saving money!

Okay… So after you tell BAM where you want to shop, you get to start building your menu.

Let’s start with Dinner.

BuildAMenu_DinnerScreenOnce you choose the meal you want to plan, you get to choose which category you’d like your recipes to come from.  On a really tight budget?  Choose “Dine On A Dime”.  Need to keep it Gluten FREE?  They have an option for that, too.

Oh, and you can choose

  • low fat
  • paleo diet
  • vegetarian
  • clean eating
  • Trim And Healthy Mama
  • Lots More!

I decided to click on Family Friendly to start building this menu: BuildAMenu_RecipeScreenLook!  You just click on each recipe you want to add to your week and it puts the ingredients in your shopping list and shows you how much you’re going to be spending to make this menu happen.  In this image, I’ve added 4 dinners.

By the time I was done building my full menu with 7 dinners, 7 sides, 7 lunches, and 7 breakfasts, along with 5 snacks and 3 desserts, my total had come to just under $150!

Another Gift For You!

Now, I normally wouldn’t plan breakfasts and lunches like this.  But the recipes sound so delicious, it’s hard not to!  You don’t HAVE to fill up your BAM menu with meals you won’t use, and I decided to only try 1 new breakfast and 1 new lunch each week.  that dropped my total under $120, which is a pretty sweet sounding number!

Do YOU want to WIN a break from thinking up great things to have for dinner?

This would be so helpful in budgeting. And would save us from the winging it at the last minute every night!

What is for dinner. Never know what is for lunch or dinner. This will help with what is for dinner and give a variety instead of the same old thing.

As a full-time outside of the house working Mom this would help immensely with those nights I come home and stare blankly at my refrigerator. I would love to be able to try some new things and could also customize it for all my daughter’s allergies!

I am a huge fan of Build A Menu and have been a long time subscriber. I love that unlike a lot of menu planning services Build A Menu offers dinner, lunch, breakfast, snacks and weekly desserts! I can always find things my family will love!

This would help by having a plan instead of what I do now and winging it each night….I’d hopefully save a lot more money.

This would definitely give me some new ideas and help me plan out my week a little better so we don’t keep eating the same old things.
