Did you miss the party? There’s still time!

Wow! 

I can’t believe how FUN that was! 

Thank you ALL who came to The Little Learning Lovies Facebook Party last night… We had a solid hour of non-stop craziness that kept us all hopping.  When we finished, I felt like I had run a marathon! 

I had many fears before this party began, since this was my first one and all.  First I thought for certain that all my children would choose that very moment to come down with a stomach bug… So I pre-scheduled about 16 of the posts that went out.  Just in case. 

Then I thought “what if I’m sitting here for a whole hour talking to myself!”  I was so worried none of you would actually come!  (Can you tell I was never the popular kid in school?  Smile)

Now, I won’t say everything went smoothly.  While I did set up special pages for all the giveaways before the party, I forgot to set them to “Public” from “Private” before it all began, so that first giveaway link was a bit of a letdown.  But we fixed it for you and we were up and running again. 

Then my youngest woke up right in the middle of everything, so I spent the second half typing one handed while snuggling her.  And the power threatened to go out towards the end.  I rushed out that last “thank you” post and breathed a sigh of relief as the lights got brighter again. 

Well, with all that, I’m happy to say that this was a really fun success.  Lots of you came, chatted, participated, asked questions, answered questions, entered giveaways and grabbed freebies! 

But I don’t want all my dear readers who couldn’t attend to miss out on ALL the fun,

Facebook Party Update

I can now officially confirm a few of the companies I’ve been working with to make our Facebook Party later this month absolutely spectacular!

What?  Oh… What Facebook Party?

Well, on January 29th, 2013 at 9:00 EASTERN TIME we’re going to meet at the Little Learning Lovies facebook Page!  That’s right!  We’re going to meet there and talk about some interesting topics, enjoy some sales, giveaways, contests and freebies and learn about ways to help make winter homeschooling more fun.  (you can RSVP HERE if you are thinking of coming.  The more RSVPs we get the better the deals I can get for you!)

I live in New Jersey.  Northern New Jersey.  And this time of year, it seems like everyone sinks into a winter blues funk.  We need something to spice up the learning and keep everyone interested until that sunshine grows strong enough to keep us cheerful again!
