There’s a blogging rule that you aren’t supposed to discuss more than one item per blog post. But I’ve never been good at following that rule! So here’s TWO fun and completely unrelated items for your enjoyment today…
SimplyFun
My sister and I are co-hosting a SimplyFun Facebook Party on Wednesday, May 8th, at 9:00 pm Eastern time and you are ALL invited! Please share it with your friends and family. Anyone who has or works with or loves kids will LOVE this party. (It also happens to be the day before my birthday, so won’t you please come celebrate with me?)

SimplyFun is a direct sales company who offers us exclusive award winning games. I have a few already and I have to say they are amazingly fun! We have a weekly game night at our house and we never enjoy ourselves quite so much as when we’re playing a SimplyFun game!

There are a lot of rewards and contests associated with this party, some of which I’ll wait to tell you about until we’re all there, but the best ones right now are these:
If you RSVP right now, or any time before the party starts, you’ll be entered to win a $5 Little Learning Lovies Gift Certificate. AND if you are one of the first 25 people to respond, you’ll be entered into ANOTHER drawing to win a 20% discount on your SimplyFun purchase!
Can’t come to the party? You don’t have to be on Facebook to have fun with us! You can visit and shop at www.our.simplyfun.com and when you check out, enter me, Sandra Modersohn, as your party host. That way, you’ll still be entered for all the fun rewards we’ve set up for purchasers!
I hope we see you there! Remember its on Wednesday May 8th at 9:00 pm Eastern!
NEW IN THE STORE
(Our own game that is, well, quite simply, fun!)
I’ve had a new idea that I stayed up late last night working on and I’m pretty happy with it. So happy that I have it in the store on sale for half price right now so you can try it too!
My daughter saw it this morning and said “Ooooh! Can I play THAT one??” so I’m counting it as a success. But I want you to try it and tell me what you think!

Picking 10 is a strawberry patch game that asks children to quickly find the strawberries that add up to ten and sort them from the strawberries that don’t. Knowing the facts that add to ten is a really important skill that one of my daughters is struggling with a bit, so I made this for her.
But here’s the best part: This game comes in two formats in the same file! First, is the traditional sized game that you can put into any handy file folder you have. Then…
This file has a matching printable folder that you can use with a slightly smaller version of the game, also included, that makes for a beautifully coordinated game that cries out to be played. Picking 10 is also a perfect size for taking in the car with you!
Right now, this game is just $1! Won’t you give it a try and let me know what you think?
