Many different books have been just what I needed to hear.
I like Stories for the Homeschool Heart.
I read the Homeschool Mom’s NIV Bible for encouragements. I would like to get more homeschooling books on encouragement. I do follow several homeschool pages on Facebook for encouragement also.
Anything by Sally Clarkson!
I love the flexibility of homeschooling. We can spend more time in an area of interest and not have to squelch self directed learning. I also love that we can focus on character development.
I read for enjoyment mainly. I believe the best I’ve looked at for encouragement is Chicken Soup for the Soul.
I haven’t found one particular book that I have been really encouraged me other than my Bible.
One Thousand Gifts what a great book
My Homeschool Mom’s NIV Bible, One Thousand Gifts, and The Ministry of Motherhood are just a few of the books that encourage me as a homeschool mother. I recently read The Marriage You’ve Always Wanted which was an encouraging and inspirational book for couples. Thank you for the opportunity to win these books.
Lies Homeschooling Moms Believe gives me a boost every couple years.
Too many to pinpoint one. But I have enjoyed, Heaven Help The Home by Howard Hendricks, Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Tedd Tripp, Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit by Teri Maxwell.
My favorite book right now is my NIV Homeschool Mom’s Bible which encourages me every day. I am also reading the Ministry of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson. I would LOVE to read these books. Thank you for the opportunity to win them.
Desperate or Beyond Bath Time
Since I have become a parent….I havent read much for myself. Terrible isnt it!!?? I would love to start with one of these!!
One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp
I have so many favourite books! But one of my favourites has to be Desperate by Sarah Mae! A friend gave it to me when I really, really needed to read it 🙂
I really do not have a favorite. I just love to read.
I love anything by Sally Clarkson.
Desperate by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson
I’m Catholic, and for funny encouragement I love Susie Lloyd’s “Please Don’t Drink the Holy Water!” For encouragement as a homemaker, I love “A Mother’s Rule of Life”.
I don’t really read a lot of encouragement books, maybe I should.
A Mom Just Like Me (Farris)
My Bible. And Raising Real Men by Hal and Melanie Young. They also have a new marriage book My Beloved, My Friend that i am currently reading.
My bible 🙂
Besides The Bible, I haven’t read any encouraging books for mommas and homeschoolers. I really need to start reading some of them.
The 5 love languages (either reg or for kids but applied to the whole family!)
