  1. I am new at this but cant wait for our journey to begin. My children seems to be excited. With lots of prayer and love I know we can do this.

  2. There is nothing more precious than our children! God could not have given me a kinder gift! It shows His love for me. Oh and the grand babies make the gift all the more valuable!

  3. My favorite thing about homeschooling is being able to be there when my son finally understands something and gets so excited.
    The one thing that brings me the most joy is being able to design his learning around his personality and not having to send him off to a school all day.

  4. My favorite thing about homeschooling is being able to spend all this time with my kids, even though sometimes they can drive me crazy 🙂

  5. I love the flexibility of homeschooling. We can spend more time in an area of interest and not have to squelch self directed learning. I also love that we can focus on character development.

  6. I love that i dont miss a moment of questions, moment of learning, second of excitement when science works or amazes, when a story has an exciting ending, when an art project turns out. i dont miss my babies firsts being home and i dont miss the excitement of learning and discovering.

  7. I love the one on one time with my son! We are currently just doing a loose preschool homeschool as he just turned 3, but I cannot wait to continue the learning in the future!

  8. I love knowing that I can fit my lessons to each of their individuals needs and learning styles. Having cute materials to learn with is a major bonus!!

  9. My absolute favorite thing about homeschooling is having more time with our son but I also enjoy not having to fight with the school district about what should and shouldn’t be on his IEP too! After all, no matter how much education a teacher may have, I know our son better than any teacher will every know our child.

  11. I am actually a special education teacher but find that home schooling materials work best in my classroom since they can be made to fit each of my students needs much better than what is usually used within the schools.

  23. I love teaching my kids to read. I love to read, and love giving them the tools to love books. Two children are bookworms already, and the third is learning her phonics this year!

  24. We just started to home school, but the thing that I have enjoyed the most the past few weeks is watching the “lightbulb” come on over my daughter’s head when she makes a connection, and her slow, sly smile that follows. Precious!

  25. I love spending my time with my daughter and seeing her excitement when she learns something new. They grow up so fast.

  26. My kids and getting to be with them. I don’t miss out on all of the school firsts. (This is also one of my struggles as I am always with them.)

  27. I love being able to teach my daughter. There are so many reasons I love it! Seeing her learn and grow gives me the most joy 🙂

  33. I’m not technically a homeschooling mom, but I feel that schooling does not begin and end in the classroom. I like being able to help my child learn outside of the classroom both reinforcing topics discussed at school and learning about things not covered in school.

  34. Ok so I haven’t officially started homeschooling yet, but I love the freedom it is going to give me to teach my kids what I want and not just what the state dictates.

  35. I love homeschooling! One of my favorite things is seeing my children light up as they learn new things!
