I’m pretty proud of this game… I just have to say! lol  It came out cute and the kids “have a blast”, as my Katie would say, practicing their sight words.

So here’s how it works.  You get to choose which kind of die the kids use.  They can use the one with numerals or the one with pictorial representations of the numbers.  Either way, they are both color coded to match up with the word cards.

Here’s where it gets really cool.  Kids of different levels can play together!  There are 5 sets of cards included with the game, from Dolch Pre-Primer through 3rd grade.  On their turn, players choose a card from their pile (did I mention the card sets are also color coded to easy differentiating?) then they roll the die.  If they can read the word next to the number indicated on the die, they get to move forward that number of spaces. 

Some of the spaces have a BONUS on them where if the student can read their whole card, they can move forward 6 extra spaces!
