We’re linking up with the weekly essay topic over at Far Beyond Pearls. This week, the topic was “Wishes” and my kids wrote their very first essay ever. Here is Katie’s:
I wish I could fly.
I could fly all over the plase.
I would have pikie dast.
I would put pixie dast on my famaly.
I would love my famaly up in the air.
So many Flyer here. It’s wonderful! Very nice wish and I imagine your not the only one to wish to fly today.

There sure are a lot of little girls who would like to be fairies! Sometimes I dream I am flying and it is great fun. Those are some of my favorite dreams.
Sounds like you’d be a little fairy, too! Did you know that Rosie loves fairies and was even corresponding for a while with the tooth fairy? Her name is Jane, and she wishes she had a more interesting name than Jane! Isn’t that funny? Bet you didn’t know that about the tooth fairy.

I think fairies are cute, and the fairies fly around everywhere. And I wish people could fly, too! And if people could fly, they would have pixie dust! I really wish I could fly!
The tooth fairy took 4 of my teeth! And she left me 4 silver dollar coins. I didn’t know her name was Jane!
