We’re linking up with the weekly essay topic over at Far Beyond Pearls. This week, the topic was “Wishes” and my kids wrote their very first essay ever. Here is Josie’s (age: nearly 7):
I wish I could be Peter Pan. I wont to be Peter Pan becos I would be in neverland. I would have frend mermades. I would love Wendy. I would fite with Capten Houc. I would fly in the sky. I would save Tiger Lilie and bring her abck to her pepel. I would open a bom present.
Haha, so sweet! I never thought about a life as Peter Pan. Very imaginative, I like it!

I love Peter Pan too. I think it would be fun to live in neverland with you, let me know when you go so I can pack my suitcase!
My son Jack loves Peter Pan too! He and his sister like to pretend they are in Neverland, rescuing Tinkerbell.
That’s a pretty good movie, isn’t it? Which one is your favorite? Is it the Disney movie? My favorite is a live-action movie, and if you haven’t seen it, we’ll be sure to watch it together when you come visit.
